This 1,500 square foot lobby renovation for a seven story office building in Cambridge was designed to upgrade the image for this tired building. A custom aluminum baffle ceiling system was suspended in the entrance to minimize the unusually high ceilings. The existing wood paneling was refinished and the bull nose cap replaced with a bronze chair rail to match the refinished bronze elevator doors. New wall sconces and fabric wrapped acoustic panels soften the visual and acoustic qualities of the space.
