This 1,400 square foot hair salon was redesigned to upgrade its services and image. A new storefront increases the salon's visibility along Commonwealth Avenue. Because of its unusually long floor plan, the space was divided into sections using translucent curtains which facilitate the flow through the space while providing a degree of privacy. The simplicity of the design gives the illusion of spaciousness in this otherwise constrained floor plan.
