Due to significant growth and expanding office needs, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts required a 400,000 square foot office building and 2,200 vehicular parking structure on the South Shore. Blue Cross selected this 32 acre wooded site in Hingham Massachusetts for its new facility. The project was designed as two phases, phase one includes the main building, 325,000 square feet with adjoining parking structure for 1,600 cars.

The buildings were carefully located on the site to take advantage of existing topography, wetlands and vegetation. Designing to the maximum height allowed by Zoning By-Law regulations, the four-story office building and the creation of a parking structure allowed the development to reduce its overall footprint on the site, protecting a substantial amount of site features.
